FULL AUDIOLOGY ASSESSMENT
(NO REFERRAL REQUIRED)
Full Audiology Assessments include middle ear/ear drum testing, acoustic reflex, air and bone conduction pure tone testing, word recognition testing and many other specialized tests (as needed).
- Why is a Full Audiology Assessment useful? An Audiologist’s assessment is usually required prior to referral to an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist. At Capital City Audiology, we provide physician reports, including ENT reports, and we can refer directly to ENT specialists when needed.
- Why should I get a Full Audiology Assessment? Assessments can help determine a wide range of medical conditions and the degree and type of hearing loss you might be experiencing. Our certified clinical audiologists use this information to develop your treatment plan with the use of hearing aids.
- We also provide third-party hearing tests for other organizations such as AADL, WCB, Veteran’s Affairs (VAC), NIHB, treaty, EPS, DND, RCMP or ENT referral.
